"I Am" PoemI hear Flat on the Floor by Nickelback because I can be that cool.
I see the silver lining of the dark cloud above when I got out to enjoy the rain.
I want a Wii even though I'm not a good gamer.
I say the first thing that comes to mind so long as it makes sense, but doesn't at the same time.
I am Strong when depended upon and gentle when loved and respected.
I feel happy for the first time in a while, because someone else completes me.
I am surprised by the unexpected, even though I expect the unexpected.
I touch the things I love so that I may lose myself in what I do, even if I just need to pass the time.
I worry about my girlfriend, even if it's just to return the favor.
I require a pad and pencil all the time so I may relay my expressions and opinions through art.
I am creative when I'm bored and bored when I am creative.
I understand that the best thrive from the worst because no one's born at the top of the ladder.
I believe that imperfection is the only perfection.
I wonder what life would be like if nothing wrong happened.
I dream to live, and live to dream.
I try to make myself a better person, but find change unnecessary.
I hope for rainy days just so I may walk through them.
I am funny when I feel the need to be, and persistent when I have to be."

This is a poem that was assigned to me in english III close to the beginning of the year. I got the paper back with a note saying it was one of the best out of all her classes. I felt like I accomplished something X3. And it was pretty fun. I challenge you all to come up with something in an "I Am" poem. I'll give you the format of it down below.
